Materials list

Since we can’t tell beforehand what will be in your still-life, providing a list of colours is difficult. Bring along whichever oil paints and brushes you have. Materials good and bad will be covered as part of the course.

We have a vast array of still-life objects in the studio that you can choose from but if there is anything special you would like included in your setup, feel free to bring it along.

Solvent

We prefer Gamsol as a solvent in the studio.

Any materials you don’t have, we will likely have something in the studio you can use.

Canvas

Bring a primed linen canvas or board no bigger than 50 x60cm / 18 x 24 inches.
